Food Force Co., Ltd. is a food manufacturer that specializes in Vietnamese food products under the “Vietnamdeli” brand. “Vietnamdeli” products are sold in 1,000 Vietnamese food stores and restaurants throughout Japan. Our wish is to spread the safe and delicious Vietnamese food culture.

The signature product, Vietnamese ham, is a daily food eaten as an ingredient for Banh Mi and as a snack, and is an indispensable traditional food for Chinese New Year. Vietnamdeli’s products, including ham, have been improved based on know-how learned in Vietnam, and strict Japanese quality standards and HACCP-based food sanitation management are thoroughly implemented in purchasing, processing, and distribution. Vietnamese food products carefully handmade in domestic factories are gaining a reputation in the Vietnamese community in Japan for their authentic taste that is as good as the taste of home.

The reason why we started making “Vietnamese Ham” in Japan

After working in advertising sales and restaurant management, I established Food Force Inc., which supports restaurants. A major turning point for our company was meeting my Vietnamese wife. At a Vietnamese grocery store that I started managing with my wife, I learned about the existence of Vietnamese ham, which is essential for Chinese New Year dishes, and the fact that it is in short supply. When Vietnamese customers living in Japan found out that they could not obtain them, I saw their sadness and tears, and I began to think that I wanted to provide a stable supply of important traditional foods in Japanese quality. This desire led me to make a major shift into the meat product manufacturing business. As a result, I was able to select a market where no competitors existed, and I was able to grow this business significantly. I will continue to expand the range of the products and business as an authentic Vietnamese food manufacturer and create essential value for people through our food.

We operate 4 food factories in Aichi, a bread factory(Nagoya), a meat products and frozen foods factories (two locations in Seto), and a hydroponic test farm (Seto). It is a fast-growing company that was selected as No. 1 in the Japanese food and beverage category in the “Ranking of the Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies 2022” (conducted by the Financial Times of the U.K and Statista of Germany).
